THROUGH THE DOOR
Written by Laurence Mark Wythe & Judy Freed

A modern musical fable about passion, romance and searching for who you really are, with a modern broadway style musical theatre score. Through the Door is a heartfelt original musical about a woman in a marriage that seems to be going nowhere who discovers that her kitchen pantry contains a mysterious gateway to the past. When she finds herself face to face with a 17th century Prince she faces an intriguing choice. The show was originally performed as a West End gala concert featuring West End leading lady Julie Atherton alongside Paul Keating and Oliver Hembrough. The show was consequently showcased Off-Broadway and received its world premiere in Seoul, Korea in 2015. One of the show’s popular ballads is the beautiful “The Window” which has been sung by many West End performers including Julie Atherton and Emma Williams.

There are two soundcloud playlists below. The first with tracks recorded live at the Trafalgar Studios at the Perfect Pitch showcase 2009. The second group of tracks are taken from the Perfect Pitch songbook.
