IN TOUCH
Written by Dougal Irvine

The internet is running our lives for us. We trust it. It provides for us. We have a new faith. Is that good thing, a bad thing or just inevitable progress in human evolution?  Set slightly in the future, In Touch takes us to an online virtual world where users interact with each other through avatars and asks us what it means to be human in the 21st century. With a contemporary and innovative score, popular songs include “Megan’s Hero” and “Tir Na N’og” which have been recorded by artists including Lauren Samuels and Samantha Barks. Previous productions of In Touch include London (The MTA) and Tokyo, Japan.

The video above is the finale of the show from the premiere production at The MTA.

The following songs from “In Touch” have been produced and released by SimG records and the albums are available for purchase on their website

The first track (The Touch Of Love) appears on “All Things In Time” the debut album of Stuart Matthew Price. The other tracks are from Dougal Irvine’s own debut album “Acoustic Overtures”.
