!!! PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR SHOW
!!!
Submissions will not be accepted without a submissions form.

!!! PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE SUBMISSIONS FORM HERE

  1. For your submission to be considered the downloadable submissions form (above) must be completed in full and e-mailed together with your material to submissions@perfectpitchmusicals.com or posted to Submissions, Perfect Pitch Musicals, 5a Irving Street. London. WC2H 7AT.
  2. You are required to provide no more or less than 3 songs, a synopsis and 15-20 pages of script. If we would like to see more material from your show we will contact you. The synopsis should be a fully detailed outline of the book's full story from start to finish and not just an overall description of the piece or its concept.
  3. PLEASE DO NOT SEND FULL SCRIPTS, SCORES OR ANY PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL AT THIS STAGE.
  4. At least one member of the writing team must be a British resident
  5. The musical must have an original score (not a juke-box musical)
  6. If the show has source material from an established book, film, play or other material within copyright the underlying rights must be held by or available to the writer.
  7. Music can be provided on CD or e-mailed as MP3s.
  8. We will only consider pieces which have a minimum of three songs recorded. We do not require professional standard recordings. A vocalist (which can be the composer) accompanied by just piano or guitar is perfectly sufficient. If you do not have any recordings of your music we are unfortunately unable to consider your show.
  9. Perfect Pitch is a not-for-profit development network and not a production company. We are able to offer readings, workshops and workshop / showcase performances to further the development of your show but we cannot fund commercial productions.
  10. We are unable to return any material. Material from unsuccessful shows will not be retained.
  11. Every submission will receive a written response to your Postal address. During busy periods this can take up to 10 weeks. Whilst this response will give an indication as to why an unsuccessful show has not been accepted we are unable to provide full written feedback about the show.
  12. We are no longer able to accept scripts for shows that currently have no music written or scores / lyrics requiring a script writer. If you are looking for a collaborator on a piece we recommend Mercury Musicals Development – an organisation for writers.
  13. Any covering note or further information about you and the piece including biogs, previous workshops etc should be entered into the space provided on the submissions form and not in separate correspondence.
