From Up Here is a hopeful new musical about five strangers who find themselves on a bridge - literally on the Brooklyn Bridge, and figuratively in a brigde in their lives, in a liminal space, between one place and the next; a place of transition which releases thought and leads to new self-discoveries.

Having each reached the much feared depths of despair they find clarity, balance and perspective. They make connections with one another that precipitate change, which involves identifying how to move forward.

It's a play about time - running out of time and killing time; about chance encounters creating unlikely bonds; about passing on to, and inheriting things from, others; about letting go and letting in; about embracing a crisis to resolve it.
